New office SOLAR-IT

SOLAR-IT opened a new office in Ede to support the increasing numbers of customers. A team of LANSA-RPG specialists will support and maintain the important iSeries software of several customers (see Application Maintenance).

Abbott manages invoices with EZ-Invoice

Abbott Laboratories, the leading healthcare company, decided to manage the vendor invoices with EZ-Invoice on the iSeries (AS/400) in order to save time and money and increase the quality of the internal processes.
EZ-Invoice covers scanning, recognition and processing of the vendor invoices in an very efficient way.
SOLAR-IT uses the powerful software of Kofax (see Partners and Products).

Impress implements EZ-Transport

Impress provides metal packaging solutions for consumer goods which are part of everyday life and used by people of all ages. From baby food to soups, from paints to hairspray and from tuna to cappuccino.
EZ-Transport is a tool, interfaced with BPCS on iSeries (AS/400), which can be used for entry of the estimated transport cost and to allocate them to the customers.
Based on the carrier, there are several different pricing methods for each shipment that can be applied to each separate load:

SOLAR-IT is certified Kofax partner

Kofax Image Products is a leading developer of scanning products. SOLAR-IT incorporates the Kofax software in EZ-Invoice, the powerfull solution for scanning and recognition of invoices on iSeries.
Kofax is part of the DICOM group.

EZ-Invoice live at Chefaro

Chefaro, a big pharmaceutical company is using BPCS for several years. To improve the quality of the financial services and to reduce working hours Chefaro decided to buy the successful software, EZ Invoice.
EZ-Invoice processes vendor invoices both on paper and XML.

Maintenance project Scania

Scania develops, manufactures and sells trucks with a gross vehicle weight of more than 16 tonnes (Class 8), intended for long-distance haulage, regional and local distribution of goods as well as construction haulage.
Scania has decided to outsource some of the maintenance projects to SOLAR-IT.

Successful EZ-Banking User Meeting

Breda was on the 15th September the location for the international EZ-Banking User Meeting. Users from different countries were present. They listened to the presentations about the latest improvements in EZ-Banking.

The audience was very enthusiastic about the new financial products: EZ-Dunning and EZ-Transport. The demos on the latest software solutions EZ-WorkFlow and EZ-Scan attracted a lot of positive reactions.

DeliXL outsourced maintenance of websoftware

DeliXL, one of the biggest retail organisations in the Benelux, and part of the AHOLD company has outsourced the maintenance of her web software, BestelXL to SOLAR-IT. DeliXL recently decided to take this step in order to improve the quality and the availability of her software. Greif Germany live with Automatic Bank statement Processing!

SOLAR-IT has implemented the solution that provides import of the electronic bank statements, after which payments and receipts are automatically processed into the bookkeeping. SOLAR-IT has developed a self-learning system. On implementation the system will automatically process and book already over 75% of the transactions, and further use will continuously increase this percentage.

Schulman selects SOLAR-IT as BPCS partner

A growing number of BPCS companies in the Benelux has outsourced the maintenance of BPCS modifications to SOLAR-IT. Schulman Plastics recently decided to do the same in order to improve the quality and the availability of their BPCS support team. The contract guarantees the response times and other relevant service levels agreements.
