Mitsubishi automates Claim handling

After a successfully implementation of EZ-Banking Mitsubishi Heavy Equipment Europe started the implementation of a web based system for the handling of claims. This system uses various modules form the standard EZ-CRM package.

Mitsubishi Heavy Equipment, a company who is specialized in manufacturing and maintenance of the big diesel engines, is using BPCS for several years. The upgrade to BPCS V8 is the right moment to improve the quality of the financial services. In order to do so Mitsubishi decide to buy the successful software, EZ Banking.

Sales Force Automation for PURAC sales staff

The sales representatives start using the latest EZ-CRM module Sales Force Automation (SFA). This module supports the sales in his daily work and gives access to the central BPCS database (product info ...).

Shipping with EZ-Transport

EZ-Transport is a tool, interfaced with BPCS, which can be used for entry of the estimated transport cost and to allocate them to the customers. Based on the carrier, there are three different pricing methods for each shipment that can be applied to each separate load.
Carrier with loaded meter and number of pallets calculation (pricing): Calculated price will be assigned to the loads as one total Flat Charge.

The latest EZ Banking module Automatic Bank statement Reconciliation (ABR) is a big commercial success: already five customers signed a contract for this brand new module. The purpose of the module is: automatic processing of bank statements.

EZ-Projects is a web application that uses the iSeries as webserver. The development tool is LANSA for the Web. Interface Cytology speeds up research

SOLAR-IT has realized an interface between the scanning equipment of Tripath and the central database on the iSeries. Via this interface a lot of scanning data is transferred to the patients file.

Automatic bank reconciliation Slingeland Ziekenhuis

SOLAR-IT created a new module for the bookkeeping-program ABS. Tis new module takes care of the automatic reconciliation of bank statements. These statements are interpreted by use of a file in SWIFT-layout.
A large part of the statements will be assigned automatically but the remaining transactions can easily be filled in manually.

Concord Movado has chosen EZ-Banking

Concord Movado, the Swiss and US based manufacturer of high quality watches, has selected EZ-Banking to perform electronic banking in combination with the ERP-system BPCS.

Atlas Copco selects iSeries junior

Every year SOLAR-IT recruits at least ten graduated young persons. These enthusiastic youngsters will be educated as AS/400 professional during a 5 months training. The most important aspect of this training is the practical case in which the new programmers learn to act and think as a professional. After this training a group of well-known companies, such as Atlas Copco offers these AS/400-programmers a job with a lot of opportunities.

AZ Middelheim links thorax machine to AS/400

In cooperation with Kodak, SOLAR-IT linked a thorax machine (pictures of the lungs) to the RIS (Radiology Information System) on AS/400. When a new demand is made, the link provides automatic transfer of the data to the application of the machine. When the doctor/nurse starts the examination, the information of the patient and the treatment that is needed is shown automatically.

Ferrero Scandinavia starts implementation of EZ-Banking

The Scandinavian sales office of chocolate company Ferrero in Malmö has started the implementation of EZ-Banking this month. It is the second implementation for a member of the Ferrero group after the successful implementation in Luxemburg.

Successful EZ-Banking User Meetings

Antwerp was on the 9th October the location for the international EZ-Banking User Meeting. Users from seven different countries (Spain, Luxemburg, Sweden, Germany, UK, Netherlands and Belgium) were present. They listened to the presentations about the latest improvements in EZ-Banking.
The audience was very enthusiastic about the new module Automatic Bank statement Reconciliation. The demos on the Easy Software Suite, EZ-BarCo and EZ-CRM, attracted a lot of positive reactions.

EZ-CRM becomes IBM 'Galaxy Software'

For a limited time IBM is providing deep discounts on some of its iSeries systems when they are bundled with particular solutions. These solutions must meet certain criteria, and are known as Galaxy Eligibles. A list of these eligible solutions is published at IBM's Galaxy website, in the Galaxy Mall. IBM Reseller Partners will use this list to select eligible solutions for their customers when providing systems with the discount offered under the Galaxy Project.

iSeries education for Promedia

Promedia, the Antwerp editor of the famous Yellow Pages, decided to educate their new AS/400 programmers in SOLAR-IT's education center. Besides the theoretical and practical training, the trainee is also evaluated with regular tests. Promedia will be informed about the results so controle about the progress is ensured.

Automatic Bank statement Reconciliation is available now!

This new EZ-Banking module for BPCS provides automatically import of the electronic bank statements, after which payments and receipts are automatically processed into the bookkeeping. SOLAR-IT has developed a selflearning system. On implementation the system will automatically process and book about 50% of the transactions, and further use will continuously increase this percentage. This product will be demonstrated during the coming user conference.

DOCdata selects EZ-Banking

DOCdata, one of world's biggest CD and DVD producers has chosen EZ-Banking to perform electronic banking in combination with the ERP-system BPCS V8.1. DOCdata will use EZ-Banking in her offices in the UK and the Netherlands.

EZ-CRM heavily tested by PURAC

PURAC biochem recently organized a conference room pilot in order to test the modules EZ-Complaints and EZ-Contact. These modules will soon be implemented in Purac's offices in the USA, the Netherlands, the UK and Spain while other countries will follow soon. The CRP can be considered as very successful.

SOLAR-IT present at BPCS user conferences in Düsseldorf and Birmingham

SOLAR-IT showed her products EZ-Banking, EZ-CRM and EZ-BarCo to the German and British user groups. Ease of use, stability, and the direct link with BPCS caused many positive reactions and will lead to a substantial growth of SOLAR-IT's market share in these regions.

Speech recognition for Labo Riatol and AML on AS/400

Two Belgian healthcare companies have asked SOLAR-IT to realize the communication between the speech software of Philips and the AS/400 database.
The database is used for storage and retrieval of patient information as well as for invoicing.

IBM uses junior-operators from SOLAR-IT

A growing number of AS/400 customers has outsourced the maintenance of their hardware to IBM in Nossegem. During every day of the week and every week of the year a team of operators and system engineers are performing their responsable jobs. Half a year ago IBM hired the first SOLAR-IT junior-operator. In the meantime two others started as operator.

PURAC outsourced maintenance of BPCS mods

A growing number of BPCS companies in the Benelux has outsourced the maintenance of BPCS modifications to SOLAR-IT. PURAC recently decided to do the same in order to improve the quality and the availability of their BPCS support team. The number of recent international BPCS implementations caused modifications which has to be maintained. The contract garantees the response times and other relevant service levels (www.purac.com).

Automatic Reconciliation soon available

This summer EZ-Banking Enterprise will be extended with a new module for the automatic processing of bank statements. A time saving of 50% at least is possible in comparison to the manual process. The development of this module will be established in good cooperation with BPCS user Belden Wire & Cable from Venlo (Netherlands).

Symbol and Zetes support EZ-BarCo

Symbol, world market leader of bar-coding equipment, supports EZ-BarCo (the bar-coding solution for BPCS). Symbol has selected her Belgian implementation partner Zetes to assist SOLAR-IT with all the technical aspects of selection, installation and maintenance of the hardware (www.symbol.com, www.zetes.be).

EZ-BarCo available for BPCS users

The EZ-Software Suite is extended with a new product for handling barcodes: EZ-BarCo. EZ-BarCo offers an easy and stable solution for managing barcodes throughout the whole workflow starting with incoming goods. EZ-BarCo is a modular product with a short implementation time (EZ-BarCo).

Johma is a famous food company, specialized in the production of salads and fresh sandwiches. To save time and improve the quality of the financial department they decided to start with EZ-Banking.

PURAC bioquímica, located in Montmeló (Barcelona) has implemented BPCS success fully during the last four months and has selected EZ-Banking Enterprise to process their national and international payments and receipts.

American Italian Pasta Company and EZ-Banking

Successful Euro-conversion for Slingeland Ziekenhuis

The team for software maintenance (AMS) has converted the hospital information system of Slingeland Ziekenhuis (Netherlands) to Euro. This project is realized in good cooperation with the customer and software partner Cortex.

The launch of EZ-CRM

The development of a new product in the Easy Software Suite has started: EZ-CRM. EZ-CRM is an application for Customer Relationship Management as an add-on to BPCS. EZ-CRM will be developed with LANSA for the Web and will run on the http-server of the IBM iSeries (AS/400). EZ-CRM will be developed in close cooperation with the launching customer: PURAC Biochem (Netherlands).

Krehalon Industrie starts with EZ-Banking

Krehalon, the Deventer based company who is specialized in plastic packaging for the food industry, has selected EZ-Banking to perform electronic banking in combination with the ERP-system BPCS.

SGS DePauw&Stokoe outsourced application maintenance (AMS)

SGS DePauw&Stokoe, located in Antwerp, and worldmarketleader in quality decided to outsource the maintenance and further development of all of her tailor-made systems.
